PTI chairman booked for ‘missing’ cypher copy

The Counter Terrorism Wing of the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has filed a case against the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. They claim that the PTI chairman is suspected of losing an important diplomatic code, according to a report by ARY News.

The FIA took this action on Tuesday and is investigating the matter with the help of a team called the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

In the midst of the investigation into the missing code issue, Azam Khan, who used to be the main secretary for the former prime minister, appeared before the joint investigation team at the FIA headquarters. He came forward after being asked to do so.

Azam Khan revealed some surprising things during his statement to the authorities. He mentioned that the ex-prime minister used a secret code from the United States for his own political advantage. This was supposedly done to prevent a motion of no-confidence against him.

Azam Khan had not been seen for a while, but he suddenly showed up and shared these revelations about the US secret code. He gave this information while speaking to a magistrate, which is a formal process.

The PTI chairman, who used to be the prime minister, responded to Azam Khan’s statement by saying that he won’t say anything until he knows all the details. He mentioned that he doesn’t yet know why Azam Khan said these things.

However, the Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, strongly stated that Azam Khan’s confession is like a legal accusation against the PTI chief, Imran Khan. He believes that Imran Khan should be punished for what he calls an “anti-state cypher drama.”
