Today marks the 75th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the father of Pakistan. To honor this occasion, special prayers and tributes will be held at his mausoleum in Karachi.
Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television are airing special programs to remember and honor Quaid-e-Azam for his outstanding efforts in securing Pakistan’s freedom. He passed away on this day in 1948 shortly after our nation gained independence.
President Dr. Arif Alvi has reaffirmed our commitment to transforming Pakistan into a modern Islamic welfare state, following Quaid-e-Azam’s vision. He emphasized the importance of upholding the principles laid down by our founding father, particularly focusing on the well-being of women, youth, and vulnerable members of society.
The President stressed the need to prioritize education and poverty eradication for the betterment of our beloved country.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar also echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state as the best way to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam.
The caretaker Prime Minister urged unity among Pakistan’s citizens and the eradication of divisions, emphasizing the need for collective efforts towards the country’s development. He called for a renewal of the commitment made to honor Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy, advocating for unity, effective organization, and unwavering determination.
In the end, Kakar offered a heartfelt prayer, beseeching the Almighty to raise the status of the father of the nation and grant Pakistan the strength to uphold his invaluable principles.
