PIA Officially Announces New International Route

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a new international route, expanding its flight operations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

The national carrier will launch three weekly flights between Islamabad and Birmingham from December 1, 2026, according to an announcement shared on its official social media accounts.

The new service will provide passengers with more travel options between the two cities, particularly people traveling to visit family, pursue business opportunities, or explore destinations in the United Kingdom.

PIA announced the development through a promotional post featuring the Islamabad-Birmingham route and confirmed that the service would operate three times a week.

The route will add another direct air connection between Pakistan and the UK, serving passengers from Islamabad and surrounding areas who travel to Birmingham. Passengers can visit PIA’s official website or contact its booking offices for further information about flight schedules, ticket prices, and reservations.
