CDA Plans Pakistan’s Largest Zip Line in Margalla Hills

The Capital Development Authority has prepared a new plan to promote tourism in Islamabad, including a proposal to build Pakistan’s largest zip line in the Margalla Hills.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the proposal is part of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s vision to develop Islamabad as a tourist city and attract more visitors to the capital.

Under the plan, the zip line would be 2.83 kilometres long and would be built in a mountainous valley between Daman-e-Koh and the former Monal site.

CDA officials said the proposed attraction would help develop a new tourist centre in the Margalla Hills and provide visitors with another recreational facility in the capital.

The zip line is planned to begin and end at the same point, allowing visitors to return to the starting area after completing the ride.

The project is currently only a proposal by the CDA and is part of broader plans to expand tourism-related facilities in Islamabad.
