Xiaomi and Apple Devices Can Now Cross Sync Photos, Messages and More

Xiaomi is expanding the way its phones work with Apple devices through HyperOS 4, adding deeper integration with iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

The new features allow Xiaomi users to share photos, files, contacts, and web pages directly with an iPhone.

Two-Way Sync With iPhone

HyperOS 4 also allows users to view cloud photo albums across both Xiaomi phones and iPhones.

The system supports real-time notification syncing and instant message replies between the two ecosystems through two-way synchronization.

This means users can receive and respond to certain messages without switching between devices.

Xiaomi Phones Can Be Controlled From Mac and iPad

Mac and iPad users can also control their Xiaomi smartphone from a larger screen using the Mi Connect Desktop app.

This adds another layer of cross-device interaction between Xiaomi hardware and Apple products.

Rolling Out More Widely on October 15

The new integration features are part of HyperOS 4, which debuted on the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max.

Xiaomi is expected to begin a wider rollout of HyperOS 4 on October 15.

Users will need Xiaomi’s connectivity app and must use a shared Xiaomi account for the cross-platform features to work.
