Punjab Daanish Schools Announce Class 6 Admissions for 2027

The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority has announced Class 6 admissions for the 2027 academic session, offering free residential education to eligible boys and girls from financially disadvantaged families.

According to the official admission advertisement, students who have passed Class 5 can apply for admission to Daanish Schools across Punjab. The authority will select students through a merit-based process that includes a written entrance examination, verification of family circumstances, and a medical examination.

The age limit is 10 to 12 years for boys and 10 to 13 years for girls. The schools will reserve 90% of places for deserving students, while the remaining 10% will be available under the self-finance category.

Parents and guardians can obtain admission forms from the relevant Daanish School or access the application information through the authority’s website.

Punjab Daanish Schools Admission 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Students seeking admission to Class 6 must have completed Class 5 and meet the age requirements set by the Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority.

Boys must be between 10 and 12 years old, while girls must be between 10 and 13 years old.

For admission under the free education category, applicants must also meet the approved household income limit and belong to one of the deserving categories specified in the authority’s admission policy.

The official criteria page refers to an initial monthly household income limit of Rs 15,000 but allows the authority to revise this amount through a notification. Parents should confirm the income limit applicable to the 2027 intake with their chosen school.

The authority gives priority to children from disadvantaged families, including orphans and students whose parents cannot afford their education.

The admission policy also covers children whose parents are illiterate, have no immovable property or face disabilities and unstable employment.

Children who have dropped out of school due to financial difficulties can also qualify under the relevant category. The policy further includes children from qualifying rural households and families living in temporary or poorly constructed housing.

Applicants must satisfy the relevant conditions, pass the entrance examination, and complete the required verification process before receiving admission.

Punjab Daanish Schools Admission Test 2027

The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority will conduct a 100-mark entrance examination for students seeking admission to Class 6.

According to the official admission criteria, the examination will assess students in English, Mathematics, General Science, Urdu, and IQ.

Subject Marks
English 35
Mathematics 20
General Science 15
Urdu 10
IQ 20
Total 100

Students can attempt the Mathematics and General Science sections in either English or Urdu.

The authority’s Academic Wing will prepare the examination centrally to maintain a uniform assessment process.

After the test, the authority will prepare merit lists based on candidates’ performance. Students who qualify will proceed to the next stage, where officials will verify their family circumstances and eligibility.

The authority will confirm final admissions after completing the required verification and medical checks.

Free Education and Self-Finance Seats

Punjab Daanish Schools provide free residential education to deserving students who meet the prescribed admission requirements.

According to the official admission policy, a standard intake consists of 110 students, with 99 places reserved for eligible students from disadvantaged families and the remaining 11 available under the self-finance category.

Students admitted under the free education category receive educational and residential support through the schools’ boarding arrangements.

However, admission is not automatic for students from low-income families. Applicants must meet the eligibility conditions and qualify through the merit-based selection process.

The authority also allows a limited number of fee-paying students to join under the 10% self-finance quota.

According to the 2027 admission advertisement, the monthly self-finance charge is Rs 20,500. Parents applying under this category should confirm the applicable charges and payment conditions directly with the relevant Daanish School.

How to Apply for Punjab Daanish Schools Admission 2027

Parents and guardians can obtain the prescribed admission forms from their preferred Daanish School. The authority’s official website also provides admission information and downloadable forms.

The 2027 advertisement refers applicants to an online registration facility. However, the authority’s published admission criteria also require parents to submit completed admission forms with supporting documents to the relevant Daanish School.

Applicants should follow the submission instructions issued for the current admission session.

Parents must enter the student’s personal information, previous educational details, and the relevant family information in the admission form.

Candidates seeking free education must provide the details required to establish their household income and deserving-category eligibility.

The official admission criteria require parents to attach four passport-size photographs of the student, the Class 5 result card, a photocopy of the father’s CNIC, and the child’s birth certificate or NADRA B-Form.

Schools will review the applications before issuing call letters to eligible candidates for the written examination.

The call letters will provide information about the test venue, reporting time, subjects, marks distribution, and materials students must bring to the examination.

Admission Selection and Verification Process

The Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority follows a merit-based admission process.

After receiving applications, school officials will assess candidates against the prescribed educational, age, and financial eligibility requirements.

Eligible students will receive instructions for the entrance examination. The authority will prepare the examination centrally and assess candidates according to the announced marking scheme.

After the written test, the head office will prepare the relevant merit lists and refer shortlisted candidates for background and family verification.

Local government officials will verify the information provided in the admission forms, including applicants’ family circumstances and eligibility categories.

The authority will also require successful students to clear a medical examination before confirming their admission.

The authority can review or change a verification decision if it finds that the assessment does not follow the prescribed admission criteria.

Final selection will depend on students’ merit positions, eligibility verification, and the number of available seats.
