Punjab Orders Tax Offices to Stay Open for Late Payments

The property tax relief period will end on September 30, 2026, as the Punjab government moves to facilitate taxpayers in clearing their dues.

A circular issued on September 25 directed that field offices remain open for tax collection.

According to Deputy Director Headquarters Faisal Shehzad Sindhu, all field offices will remain open on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

From September 26 to September 30, all offices will stay open until 8pm.

The measure has been taken to help taxpayers deposit their dues without inconvenience.

The directive has been sent to ensure implementation in all offices under the directors across Punjab.
