itel A300C Brings Military-Grade Durability, Large 6,000mAh Battery for $115

itel has officially launched the A300C, a budget Android phone aimed at users looking for a rugged design, a large battery, and expandable storage without a high price tag.

There is currently no confirmed launch date or official price for Pakistan. However, itel has a presence in the Pakistani market and sells several budget phones in the country. That means the A300C could potentially arrive in Pakistan, although its local availability has not been confirmed.

Design and Display

The itel A300C features a 6.56-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,612 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, which should provide smoother scrolling than a standard 60Hz panel.

The phone carries MIL-STD-810H certification, meaning it has undergone testing based on the US military standard, including drop testing.

However, the A300C does not have an official IP dust or water-resistance rating. Buyers should therefore not treat it as a waterproof phone.

The phone includes a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker with DTS sound.

Internals and Software

The A300C is powered by the Unisoc T7100 chipset, the same processor used in the itel A90.

It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. While the built-in storage is limited, users can expand it with a microSD card supporting capacities of up to 2TB.

The phone runs Android 16 Go Edition, Google’s lightweight version of Android designed for entry-level devices.

Connectivity is limited to 4G, as the T7100 modem does not support 5G. This may be less of an issue for budget users, but it means the A300C does not offer access to newer 5G networks.

Cameras

The itel A300C has a basic camera setup.

The rear camera uses an 8MP sensor, while the front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor housed in the display notch.

The camera hardware is therefore focused on basic photography and video calls rather than advanced imaging features.

Battery and Pricing

The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery, which is relatively large for an entry-level device.

It supports 18W charging through a USB-C port. itel also includes a charger and protective case in the box.

The itel A300C is priced at $115 in India, placing it firmly in the budget segment.

If launched in Pakistan, its local price could differ from the Indian price because of taxes, duties, currency conversion, and other market factors.
